PRODUCT DETAILS:
MF V-CAN II headphone amp, original wall-wart and box.
UPGRADE DESCRIPTION:
I purchased this headphone amp because it has been widely modified by others and seemed like a cool project.
Upgraded all capacitors, opamp to Burr Brown OPA4227A, and an ALPS 20K pot.
I have listened to the amp before and after the mods with Sennheisser HD598 and HD650 and the difference was huge.
I have modded 2 like these and have recently added an integrated with high quality headphone amp so I really can't justify owning 3 headphone amps.
NOTE:
The ALPS pot has a longer shaft and I didn't care to replace the knob. This can be done with a knob of your choice (costs between $0.50-5$, depending on your preferences)
