Musical Fidelity X-Can v3 Headphone Amp with Power Supply and Upgrades

OVERVIEW: This X-Can V3 Headphone Amp
comes with the X-PSU V3 power supply and substantial upgrades.  This is a
tube amp with a $200 tube upgrade and a $229 Revelation Audio Labs
cryogenically-treated silver power umbilical for amazing sound.  The amp
and power supply can sit side-by-side on most equipment racks or the amp can be
stacked on top of the power supply.   The amp has both line-in and
line-out connections, so it can be placed in the signal chain between a pre-amp
and power amp, passing the signal through to the power amp (or between a DAC
and an integrated amp, etc.). This was a Stereophile "A list" recommended component until replaced by the V8 version.  

THE AMPLIFIER had the stock tubes replaced,
for enhanced sound, with a platinum low noise matched pair of 6922 Mullard NOS
mid-1970s gold pins-dimple disk getter halo rebranded "6922 National made
in England" in National boxes.  These tubes have 3 years of light use
(I normally listened through my speakers). I will also include the stock tubes.

THE POWER SUPPLY is capable of powering up to
four devices in this series (such as a DAC and tube buffer).  Although I
am only bundling the headphone amp and power supply, I am including the 4 stock
power umbilicals that could be used to connect the power supply to additional
devices.  However, you will definitely want use the included Revelation
Audio Labs Passage Cryo-Silver power umbilical for the best sound.  The
power supply uses 100 Watts and is the same size as the amp.

I used this to drive my Sennheiser HD600 headphones, which I am offering for sale
in a separate ad.  I am selling because in our new house my listening room
is far enough from our bedroom that I no longer need to listen through
headphones when my wife is sleeping.     

I have rated this an "8" because there is a small nick in the black
finish toward the back of one of the heat sink vanes on the right side of the
power supply unit.  It is very hard to see, but the rules are the rules.
 Otherwise, it would be a "9".
