On sale my Rogers HG 88 MK III integrated stereo amplifier.
It is a vintage product from the late 1960s with 24 W of power - although it seems to be much greater - of a very musical sound that marked a milestone in the history of the High Fidelity. Recently revised by a tubes specialized technician, apart from other things, the old capacitors have been replaced, eliminating the background noise. Its current sound is wonderful. It only presents a small issue: at very low volumes, one channel sounds more than the other, which can be solved with the balance. At low or normal listening levels the output of the two channels is identical. We thought that it was not worth seeking the electronic solution since it is a minor issue for a device with that age. The wooden box, somewhat deteriorated, has been painted black.
It comes with two spare NOS valves: an ECC807 Brimar, very rare to find, and an ECL86 from Mullard. I bought them as a possible replacement, although I fortunately never had to use them. The amplifier therefore comes with the original valves.
Buyer pays shipping and 3.5% paypal fee. I will ship within 2 or 3 business days of confirmed payment.
