Antique Sound Lab asl mg-spm40

I'm selling my pair of upgraded Antique Sound Lab ASL MG-SPM40 mono tube amps from Response Audio. These are around six years old. The amps are in perfect working order and I'm only selling them to downsize my HiFi collection. I've really enjoyed them and to my ears they sound warm and wonderful.

These came originally from Bill Baker of Response Audio who upgraded the stock ASL units. Here is a quick rundown of what was performed on these amplifiers from Bill:

* All main coupling (signal path) capacitors upgraded to V-Cap Teflon capacitors x 8 pieces (these are about $100 each)
* Innerstage capacitors upgraded to SoniCap Gen II capacitors x 2 pieces
* Power supply diodes upgraded to "Ultra Fast - Soft Recovery" x 8 pieces
* Following resistors upgraded
* Cathode resistors
* screen grid resistors
* grid stop resistors
* signal ground resistors
* bias stage resistors
Both amps are in excellent shape and perform beautifully. Power output is 50WPC in pentode mode and 25WPC in SET mode.
