One issue...the volume knob is "touchy". If you try to turn it down...the volume could go up and vice versa. It works fine with the remote, but the actual knob on the unit is a bit of gamble. I talked to a local guy who works on electronics and he knew exactly what is wrong and said it should cost about $80 to fix. Basically just taking off the front panel and giving the right parts a good cleaning. Or somebody even a little bit hands-on could do it themselves. I'm just not that guy. I rated it low because of this, but the truth is it works flawlessly with the remote.
Other than that the Arcam looks, works and sounds great. Unbelievably powerful and musical. You can get all the specs from the web, but I'm guessing if you're reading this you already know what the AVR-300 can do.
