Arcam Solo Music System

Up for sale is my Arcam Solo Music System which has been used sparingly in my bedroom sale.
Although the unit is cosmetically sound, the CD mode has distortion and static and there is no audible sound from that mode only.
The unit was serviced by Technetron Electronic Inc., a Manhattan Arcam authorized service center, last month and was judged to need a new board and DSP to get it up to full factory specifications.
I refused the repair as I use my dedicated DVD player to listen to my CDs.
Technetron also checked the other inputs and outputs and represented that all of them were in fine working order.
I've had the unit for over a month and those representations ring true.
