If you love music, you must try an Atma amp in your system. You will never go back. Imaging and sound stage like you read about but never thought you'd have in your house. Voices sound like people with chests and instruments sound real. All given you have good enough sources. This Atma amp will never be the weak point in your system.
What's holding you back?
1) Tubes?...the unit is very easy to set and it stays set. No futzing with it. Tubes last a very long time and are readily available for about $25 or so. You replace one at a time, not all at the same time.
2) Heat...It's not the tubes it's the Class A bias. Class A is hot, tube or transistor. If it is a very hot day, run the amps in A/B by flipping a switch. Little heat, like an A/B transistor amp.
3) Not enough power?...Run very short DIY 8GA speaker wire...1'-3' to transfer current (or high priced jumpers if you want to spend money) and run what you want up to 85-90 db @ 3.5 Meters, or high sensitivity speakers as loud as you want.
