This is a truly special preamplifier, a rare find on Audiogon. This preamp is extra special because it has the low-output phono section and an upgraded power supply (same as the Mark III). Ralph Karsten just blessed the units and placed new tubes. I really enjoyed the fully balanced system with the pair of MA-1s I am selling separately. The separate power supply makes a significant difference over the MP-3.
It was awarded an Absolute Sound Golden Ear award in 2002.
