These are rev 1 and have had zero issues; according to the FR chart they are new since around June 2011. For those who do not know rev 1's are a little darker sounding than rev 2 and IMO preferable to rev 2 due to the unique sound and very seductive.
This pair is in pristine condition and is worth it for those who like to keep their gear in perfect condition. It includes the wooden case, unopened wood oil, FR paperwork, and original cable. The pads are extremely soft, supple, and fresh. The wood is a rich dark color and has been regularly oiled with Howard's feed-n-wax.
All around this pair is impeccably clean and gorgeous to look at. The only negative remark I can add is that the wood case has some very fine surface scratches from polishing -- the thing picks them up if you even look at it funny due to it's extreme gloss.
