This is a Tube Head-Amp made by Audio Performer model # AP-88. This is a step up for using a moving coil cartridges that are low in output. I bought this in 1996 at the CES convention in Las Vegas from a small Canadian company. I used it a some time and it is indeed a great sounding moving head-amp, that is better than many expensive units. Inside of the unit has 2 12AX7 tubes and I believe a mosfet design power supply. The head-amp works perfect, it is very flexible with many low output moving coil cartridges. The size of the unit is 17.5 inches wide by 8 inches deep by 3 inches tall.
