Hello Audiogoners,

I am putting up my pair of Audio Physic Tempo III speakers for sale here on Audiogon. Audio Physic motto is "No Loss of Fine Detail" is so true. These Tempo III were sold to me by an Audiogoner. I have babied these since ownership and have been extremely pleased with the audio tonality and characteristics they provide. The sound stage is amazing and you could pickup so much details out of the speakers. As it is just like other hobbyists in this hobby, one never stops trying out new gears. Thank goodness for quality second hand gears isn't it or we'll all end up extremely broke chasing after our audio nirvana. I have recently upgraded to another amazing pair of speakers so these must go to provide funds for a nice amp upgrade.

I rate these speakers a 7 out of 10 because one of the midrange speakers has a broken screw that holds the grills. UPS damaged them on the delivery route to me a couple of years ago. They denied the claim because they did not do the packing originally. It does not affect the audio and functionality of the speakers at all. It's more of a visual distraction if you're 12" away and staring at it. It can be marked up with a black marker to blend it in, but I chose not to. I glued the broken tab back onto the speaker as you can see in the picture. I have always left off the grills and only put them on for full disclosure. The speakers look better and sound better with the screens off in my opinion.

The other defect is the black hard plastic surrounds on the speaker terminals. They are brittle so they chipped off a bit at some areas. Hopefully, you can also see that. Otherwise, the rest of the speakers are in excellent shape. No dents anywhere on the speakers. The color consistency on the cabinets is great.

I don't have original boxes for these but just a couple of days ago, I went to a shipping supply store and bought two brand new boxes (at $40 a piece), foam inserts, and edge guards (very heavy duty). All in all, over $130 in new additional shipping materials. Basically, the speakers will be double boxed for secure shipping.

Shipping insurance is required and paypal of 3% is added to the sold price. All shipping costs will be actual and not a penny more.

I have bought and sold a number of items on audiogon and so many on ebay.

I'm pricing the unit at $900.00 firm and that's for a great pair of audiophile grade speakers.

Please ask any questions you have and local pickup is very welcome and preferred. I'm from the Bay Area, CA area.

Thank you for your consideration of this ad.

Questions for the seller
FWIW you might want to let your audience of potential buyers to know that you can get replacement speaker screws from APs Canadian dealer, Goerner Communication - talk to Reinhard. I replaced all the grille mounting screws (the ones with the posts) with postless screws on my Virgo IIIs as I never use the grilles either. Looks very clean.
Hi Bob. Thank you for the suggestion. I will update my ad shortly. You're right, I don't think anyone put the grills on their Audio Physic speakers. Thanks you, Chris
