Audio Research 6DJ8/ ECC-88/ 6922 tubes W. German NOS 1980's vintage (matched quad).

I have for sale (4) four matched Audio Research labeled new old stock 6DJ8, ECC-88, 6922 vacuum tubes. If you're looking to re-tube your Audio Research preamp or line stage these tubes would be an excellent match. Of course, they will also work equally as well in non Audio Research equipment too. No international sales, Continental USA only.
These are high quality Western European tubes which are regarded as some of the best NOS tubes available. The tubes are coded as Ecc-88/6dj8 which is the European version of the American 6dj8 tube. The 6922 is the Russian industrial version of the same tube. All 3 tube types are interchangeable. These tubes are vintage NOS tubes and have never been used. The date code on the tubes are all from 1983 and all from the same factory. The lettering on the tubes say Audio Research Corporation, 32001100 (Audio Research's part number) made in W Germany. Three of the tubes have the same lettering and one has slightly different lettering. These tubes are part of a 100 tray factory direct lot, so they do not have individual boxes but I will package them in brand new generic tube boxes for shipment. The tubes are very closely matched typlically to 5% and I test all tubes on a mutual conductance tube tester for further matching. I also tested the tubes for shorts and leakage and they passed all the tests. The tubes were acquired from a local collector in the Minneapolis area which is where audio research is located. I've had many satisified audiogon customers and many repeat customers who have purchased these tubes.
