Price lowered to $750.00 and accepting sane offers. Sounds better than any Dyna ST-70 of any pedigre selling up to $1000.00. It's a bargain considering how much stock ST-70's are going for! The original owner who had them in his closet for last 6 years asked me to sell them for him. They got bench checked by my tech and got 40 w/ch. 8 ohm @ .2% THD. All tubes seem original Sylvania's. Output tubes removed for better view of the chrome and they do come with the amps. Chrome is excellent for considering the age. See the pictures. I believe they were factory built on Dyna ST-70 chasis with ARC serial #'s 470121-4 and 470121-8 . I have two available for they were used in biamp set up. The price is for each amp. Someone is selling the kit built one on scrap chasis on eBay for $1100.00. Check out the EC21 crossover I have listed for the same owner. Do additional research on Google on this historic ARC amp. Do the amps come with tube cages?
I noticed the one on [filtered] is not at all a "stock unit" the chassis is not built on a ST-70 chassis and the faceplate was cut up... My amps do not come with the tube cages. You can fit a standard stock Dyna ST-70 cage on them. They are available used or reissue ones on the internet.
The single ST-70 you see on eBay was built from Audio Research KIT on some scrap chassis. |
| not sure when the c3 st70 were up for sale but i am curious if they are still around? They were long gone in 2012! |
