I have rare Audio-Technica ART-1 cartridge for sale.
ART Stands for Audio Technica Reference Transducer. ART 1 had a Titanium Housing and was a cost no object project to coincide with the company’s 25th anniversary in 1989. The price was 800£ in UK and $1200 in the USA. The cartridge was and is one of the most advanced constructions in audio. The titanium body frame with special dumping silicone jacket brings the resonance down to nothing. So the level of reproduction is superior with no distortion.
The cartridge is in great working and cosmetic condition. The cantilever is straight, stylus is perfect. The cartridge has around 200 hours, I put 20-30 on it as well. This copy was in my collection for few years. I just upgreaded to a new copy- this one goes to lucky buyer. These are very rare. For 10 years being on AG I saw these for sale only 4 times.
It comes with boxes, sealed bag of mounting ware and some papers.
