Here is a good example of the ATP-12 tonearm. It comes complete with an Audio Technica headshell, A-T high-quality interconnect cables, and a Stanton 681 cartridge with stylus. Note that the stylus assembly does not include the Stanton brush. I have tested the cartridge and it performs fine. I like the looks of the stylus, but I cannot guarantee the condition of the stylus for you.
The ATP-12 is ideal for the user who plays a lot of vinyl. If you are a record collector who haunts swap-meets, transcribes old 78s or just experiments with different cartridges this will be your favorite tonearm. It is the easiest tonearm to change vertical tracking pressure. Note the sliding sleeve that adjusts the weight. I swap vintage Shure V-15 cartridges, Stantons, Denon DL103s, everything without missing a beat. The ATP-12 and the ultra-rare ATP-16 were used extensively in radio stations, worldwide. Thousands of radio stations were not wrong!
Please note that the DL103 and Stanton headshell shown in the first photograph are NOT included in the sale. The Stanton cartridge in the A-T headshell IS Included in the sale. Hope that's clear...
The manual for this tonearm is available for free at the vinyl engine dot com website. You will need to register but it is all free.
I will also be selling an MDF base for a Technics SP-15. The base is drilled for this tonearm. If you want the base and the tonearm together, feel free to make an offer.
