This limited build gainclone is one of seven by Richard Becker who is Aum Amplifier Company.It is a dual mono design using Peter Daniels(Audiosector)Patek amp circuits.I owned a Patek a few years ago and the Lotus is beyond that..Below is an excerpt from the Aum Amp Co. site.Please check out the site for an in depth look at the parts and time that went into the Lotus.Richard is great to work with so email him any tech questions as he really likes to discuss his work and he said it is ok to do so .

" The AUM AMPLIFIER COMPANY has created an impeccably designed, perfectly executed, high quality, dual mono, 40 watts per channel, audio power amplifier. However, the Blackgate Capacitors responsible for the great sound of this amp are no longer available and this is the last Aum Lotus gainclone amp that will be available for sale. The amplifier advertised here is fully finished, tested, and has been "burned in" for about 40 hours. This Aum Lotus dual mono amplifier is unique in that a tremendous amount of time has been spent in creating an optimum chassis layout design (for ultimate vibration control) along with the selection of the best possible combination of parts"

The amp is rated a solid 8/10 but see photos for a few mars in the wood on one side panel.
