Ayon Spirit 2 NYC

Very nice condition Ayon Spirit 2 integrated amp. I purchased this in February of 2011 from a fellow Audiogoner who had purchased it new from USA Tube Audio. Upon inspection I see no scratches, dents, dings, etc......I will rate the amp a 7 simply because I am the second owner and because it was serviced in July (details below). Its a fabulous amp which is built like a tank and will last many, many years if treated well.

This sale will include none of the original stock tubes. It will come with 4 Shuguang Treasure KT88-Z, 4 JJ gold pin 12AU7, and 4 Genelex Gold Lion 12AU7. The amp only takes 4 12AU7 so you have a spare set right off the bat.

DISCLOSURES.......The amp was sent in for service to Steve at The Service Department in July, 2011. The amp would power on, the tubes would light up, but no sound came from it. Was simply an open fuse. While there he gave a quick overhaul by recalibrating the bias and tightening the fasteners on the front control knobs. Amp working perfectly now.

I must also disclose that the remote control eats batteries very quickly. I find myself changing them every 3/4 weeks. It is also a bit slow to respond when the room is cold and the remote itself gets cold. I had purchased the remote new from USA Tube Audio only a few months ago to replace the original which had a battery leak. You can try a third if you like if you want to pay $89 for the honor. The subpar remote is my only complaint to Ayon.

Also included are the red transformer and amp stockings supplied by Ayon. I also have both the Ayon Manual and the supplement from USA TubeAudio. Throwing in a working voltmeter for biasing and a 2M Wyred4Sound power cord in addition to the stock cord.

I have no box and the unit is very heavy (70lbs ?) so I offer this for local pickup ONLY in NYC. I believe it is priced for a quick sale. Included tubes alone would run ~ $600 new. Thanks for looking.
