Sadly, I have to part with these speakers. They are one of the best buys I've ever made but my new wife has never been a fan of their looks so I am looking to get these to someone who will take care of them and move along. They look great (at least I think so) and sound better. All the grills are in great shape, without any rents or tears. Each speaker has some minor scratches on one side. All other sides look pretty clean.
These are full range, floor standing speakers with a ported, cherry wood cabinet. These 2.5 way speakers contain a 1" dome tweeter, a 6.5" mid-bass and a 6.5" woofer. The Special Editions gained Kevlar mid woofer with phase plug. They have biwire terminal jumping strips that can be removed if need be.
I originally paid $1800 for the pair and would like to get $850 for the pair now. Local pickup in the New York CIty area would be best. I have a car these fit in so personal delivery (and any potential costs) is a potential option for delivery.
