BAT VK-52SE One of the best preamps out there

Forced to sell due to downsizing our lifestyle which includes the house. This preamp is one their newest ones and includes the second generation SUPER-PAK oil capacitors design (hence the SE at the end of the model number). The size of the power supply is staggering - it's larger than most amplifiers! This model is just a step below their best preamp and can be upgraded to the REX (their best). Quite a nice upgrade path. *All* of the outputs are XLR / balanced. This preamp is the two tone black and silver which can be seen on some of their other products. While this is a tube preamp, there is nothing "tubey" about it. And it's output can drive any amplifier out there with ease.

I owned another BAT preamp until I heard this one. Like my BAT amp, this preamp is one of the most musically engaging preamps that I have heard and I've been doing this for some time. Tons and tons of musical bliss and engaging detail. The review on Positive Feedback is highly accurate and this preamp is that good. YMMV in your own system and room of course.

There is a reason this preamp weighs 45 lbs! They packed just about everything they can into the chassis. I've owned a lot of amps that weigh less than this preamp.

The amp will be shipped in it's original box and foam inserts (which is how BAT ships them of course).

Low ballers will be politely ignored.
