BD Design CrazyT unique USB DAC by Mirko Weitzig

Will make any other USB or Firewire (read Weiss) DAC's pale. The only requirement is that your amplifier's input should be 50 kOm or more.

Starting from ridiculously low price with ridiculously low reserve. GRAB it, there will be no more of those on the market. Price direct from manufacturer, i.e. without distributor mark-ups! was $4500 (not 4k as it says below).
The same DAC was used with $33 000 speakers at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (scroll down to BD-design) and was judged "the best sound in a small hotel room."

One of a kind, only a few pieces were made by former designer of Analog Devices, Japan, Mirko Weitzig for www.bd-design.com - producer of one of the world's best loudspeakers and certainly the best value-for-money products.

What you see in this, and my other listing, is by FAR the best value you will find on the market. Big time.
Make sure you read this particular DAC's specifications and know what it is.

- also google Gerner Christiansen, he is the only one to my knowledge who provided a lot of clear info about this DAC in the internet. This guy can afford anything and he owns THIS DAC! He was involved in the development of several bd-design products I understand and knows a lot about the background. Of course, Bert Doppenberg, from bd-design and Mirko know too :) Other than that, there isn't much public information about it. Even Gordon Rankin doesn't know much.
