Bel Canto's Pre1 has garnered a lot of good press and deservingly so. It is a very functional, well thought out design completely at home with gear costing several times it's modest pricetag. It offers 2 balanced inputs and outputs, as well as an RCA out, a HT Bypass, Tape Loop, and this one is also quipped with a additional 4th RCA input. Volume control is accomplished by a premium Crystal 3310 controller; the same piece used on top of the line Jeff Rowland gear of this era. The Pre1 replaced a, nearly 3 times as expensive, YBA Pre2 in my system several years back and I never missed it, in fact, I consider this an upgrade. I honestly can't think of anything that warrants mentioning in terms of cosmetic blemishes, and it is 100% in terms of functionality for sure. I'm listing it as an 8/10 for age only. I will include a HiFi Tuning fuse (pre-installed) along with the stock fuse. Pay Pal buyers add 3%
