I am the original owner of this unit and it has performed flawlessly as the centerpiece of my ht system for the past 10yrs. This unit is typical of the Bel Canto aesthetics and dynamic sound and can process and direct Dolby Digital EX/Pro Logic 2/DTS-ES/6.1, DVD-A, MLP and 7.1 Matrix. Use 8 differential 24bit/192 kHz DACs, an A-weighted S/N ratio of 114dB, as well as a pure path 7.1 thruput w/analog LFE. As a preamp, the sound is clean and dynamic. As a processor I've enjoyed years of film like video. The unit is not equiped with hdmi inputs. My Bel Canto PRePro is a dealer demo. I am an authorized Von Schweikert Audio dealer among other fine audio/video products.
