Great sounding BEZ Q4B linestage preamp, in perfect working order, and very nice cosmetic condition. BEZ units are known for their brilliant circuit design, superior build quality and very high quality components. I'm giving it a 7/10 only because of some faded lettering. This one has had the addition of a balance control, and new AuriCaps in the signal path. (a great improvement over a stock unit). The Q4B offers a superbly engineered, regulated power supply ( the two outer tubes on either side of the rectifier ), a simple and stable classic amplification circuit, stepped attenuator volume control, and 3 high level inputs, IEC power socket. It can also be wired for 220 volt mains. Includes, as shown, two vintage RCA 6SN7's, a Brimar rectifier, and two vintage USA voltage regulator tubes. Plus a second set of matched vintage 6SN7's, a full schematic, power cord and original capacitors. This is a great sounding, dead quiet, ultra reliable unit. I've owned this preamp for five years and it has always been a delight. And at under $400 I think this is a fantastic deal. I really can't believe that there's anything else on Audiogon that can come near this at under $400- if there is please tell me!! $35 shipping (con US) includes full insurance. I know how to pack this type of item! Here's a site you absolutely must see: http://www.bezdz.com/cpj1.htm . You'll have to copy and paste it but man alive this company makes some interesting equipment!!
