Selling a very nice Bottlehead Foreplay tube preamp, I believe it's an original issue, but I'm no expert, I will include several pics so you can see the insides and make your own judgement.

I bought this about 3 years ago from the original owner, it will come with 3 pairs of 12AU7 tubes. I currently have some Tungsol black glass tubes, which will be included at the $340 asking price. I will also include some vintage GE's or Conn's that are still good, so 3 pairs will be included.

I had Echo Audio here in Portland, Oregon do some repair work to it last year, it had a ground hum, but it works well now with no hum. It has a stepped attenuator, Auricaps, 3 inputs and I believe 2 outputs, but I never tried the second pair of RCA outputs, they might be for a subwoofer? I have used this with several amps, it makes a soft thump when warming up and may blow the fuses in some solid state amps. I didn't have that problem with a B & K ST-202 and an Adcom GFA555 II, but did have the problem with a Hafler DH220. The best thing to do is turn your amp on 10-15 seconds after the preamp is turned on. Not complicated.
