If you are looking at this listing then you already know about this fantastic phono pre-amp. The Boulder 2008 has been a perennial Recommended Component rated A+ by Stereophile Magazine, pretty much in a class of its own. Stereophile's Michael Fremer describes the sound as "..faultless in every area of performance.." concluding that , "..it was like analog on acid.." (See: Stereophile July, 2002). But, quality does not come cheap. The Boulder 2008 phono preamp & 2000 power supply system currently retails new at about $36,000.

My units have been well taken care of and very lightly used since I bought them in 2007. I have rated the two units as an Excellent "9" on the AudiogoN Grading Scale. Included in the sale will be: Two original factory double boxes and packing materials, Leather bound Owner's Manual, Original factory supplied Power Chord and Balanced XLR cables for connecting the Pre-Amp to the Power Supply.

I bought my Boulder 2008/2000 from Audio Unlimited in Denver CO in October, 2007. It has been an very enjoyable part of my system every since.

The AudioGoN Blue Book average used price is $22,760, with the last sale in August 2009 at $23,000
