Boulder 860 stereo power amp. 150 WPC/8 ohms, 300 WPC/4 ohms. Not often found on the used market.
This is the highly regarded little brother of the legendary $25,000 Boulder 1060.
Known for its transparent and detailed sound with a marvelous soundstage. Very, very low noise floor. This amp has been driving my big Wilson MAXXs with its 300 WPC in their 4 ohm load without breaking a sweat.
Sonically flawless, but cosmetically flawed. I rate this a 5/10 due to two scratches: One is 1/8" the other is a grouping 5/16" long (sucks to be me, I dropped an XLR cables on it). See pictures.
