UP for sale is a rare-as-hen's teeth example of Bow Technologies' legendary ZZ8 CD player. This is the later, much better sounding, non-HDCD decoding version with the latest 24/96 upsampling Bow DAC ever made inside.

If you're looking at this you do know that the ZZ8's latest incarnation was universally celebrated as the closest-sounding digital deck to vinyl ever made. Music played on it is incredibly natural and free-flowing, with rich mids, sweet highs and incredibly well-controlled lows, ta huge but very well-focused soundstage ) and a general naturalness to the proceedings which clearly set it well apart from every player I previously owned (these include a Meridian 800 and Musical Fidelity Nu Vista 3D). I'm a vinyl freak and this is the first ever CD player that made me happy to spin silver.

This partcular unit is something of a collector's item as it used to be Lars Moltke's personal model; Lasr was ther other "half" of Bow Technologies with founder Bo Christensen, and this unit is effectively the first ever player he made of the latest generation ZZ8s. Lars will I'm sure happily confirm this upon request.

Not only does it look absolutely stunning - it comes complete with all you could possibly want in a true collector's item - original box, manual, lens-procetion leather CD for when not in use, not one but two clamps (the original 3-branch version, rare and pictured here, and the later, much better sounding 5-branch version), and also Bow's unique remote control, the Wand. All of which is in like-new condition.

This is a true collector's item and I will not take low-balling. I am however happy to consider reasonable offers. Check my feedback on ebay under rolandjuno60 - I have bought and sold many high end audio items over the years with total satisfaction from all involved. Thanks for looking and happy to take any questions.
