Wonderful sounding Brinkmann Marconi Reference preamplifier in excellent condition.
4 RCA inputs and 2 XLR inputs.
RCA and XLR outputs.
Separate power supply unit with HiFi Tuning cryo fuse.
The MARCONI impresses with its puristic design, featuring only the minimum of controls. The control panel includes left hand the level switches for the right and left channel, the input selector, in the middle a display that indicates operating information, right hand the volume control and a mute and on-off push button. The operation settings may be done directly at the amplifier; input selection, volume and mute can also be driven via remote control.
The low maintenance tubes have a normal life span of approximately 10 years. The 4 matched tubes in this Marconi have at least 5 more years of music making life in them.
I purchased the unit in 2008 from an authorized US Brinkmann Dealer.
Comes complete with granite base, remote, AC & DC power cables, manual, wood case and original shipping box.
