If you manage to get this amplifier for between $450 and $800 you will have managed to get yourself a fantastic deal. I don't believe that there is any power amplifier below $1000 that will sound better.

The separation of the instruments, clarity, sound imaging are all superb, especially when running balanced. Cairn's excel at imbuing music with a saccharine lightness that prevents listener fatigue. I would describe the sound as organic.

I am selling because I now have an integrated system running. The Nitro pre-amp was sold leaving this power amplifier to gather dust in the closet.

If you want my opinion Cairn's are some of the most underrated hifi audio gear around. This is because Cairn does not have a big footprint in the United States. Much easier to land a unit from this brand in Europe.

The unit functions perfectly and looks pristine. Rated 8/10 for age only. The unit will come packaged in original box. Very easy to setup the power amplifier, all you have to do is plug it in and switch it on. It is controlled through any pre-amplifier that is connected to it, and as I said earlier automatically detects signal from the pre-amp. Simple to use, beautiful to look at and excellent sound, this one's a no brainer if you're looking for a power amp.
