I am selling an "8.5" 840E Preamp in perfect working order. Relaxed, open sound, with good detail. Ever so slightly warm midrange eliminates the sound of a "solid state" component. Unbelievable feature set comparable to the most deluxe preamps on the market. XLR and RCA. I am the original owner. As an FYI, this model has been discontinued, and it is becoming very hard to find. Probably a little too ambitious--and expensive for Cambridge--but a great piece of equipment. I believe it has 12 db of gain. This is a very substantial piece of equipment. No Canadian or International shipping. Thanks.
