I purchased this Charisma cartridge from an authorized dealer in Jan 2015. An excellent well-constructed moving coil cartridge, meticulously cared for, that yields excellent detail and clarity with openness and a sense of air and separation. The stage has depth,
highs are extended and quite smooth, while mid-range is impressive – images project
nicely out from the speakers.
Bass frequencies are equally notable.
With all of this, personally, I find the cartridge’s transient dynamic performance
at the top of its abilities. Excellent condition but giving this a rating of 8 for age.
The MC2 boasts a sapphire cantilever (rigid, yet light for a faster response) and
gold plated pins, well-spaced. The Cart is no longer being used. FREE shipping in the U.S.

"The Charisma Audio MC-2 moving coil cartridge sounds
far better than it has any right to! In fact, this recently
introduced cartridge–and cartridge line—is undoubtedly one of today's best
bangs for the buck in the once again growing world of high-end audio
cartridges." - Miles Astor, Positive Feedback, July, 2015 (read
If Asking price accepted I will throw in FREE, a Micro Benz MC1 Cart that only needs retipping. See photos.
The Benz MC-1 is a piece of history: This was Benz Micro's VERY FIRST model, which ended up putting the company on the map! No compromises could be made during its making of course, Benz Micro needed to come out strong and garner positive recognition. The cartridge is in NEED OF RETIPPING however, but I've decided to include it as a bonus. It's a collector's item now, especially in original box, with accessories and the test-graph. Once retipped, you'll be able to travel back in time and listen to Benz Micro's first and strongest product. Even Albert Lukaschek thinks that the MC-1 was the best cartridge he ever made, which he said during an interview at the MOC Munich high-end show.
