Apparently not. Therefore, let me enlighten you...
I do not buy Clearaudio products from dealers. I buy them direct from Clearaudio themselves. As ANYONE can do - if they care to!
I have been a customer of theirs for over 25 years, and I know most people there quite well. Peter Suchy himself (the founder, now retired) has been very helpful to me over the years.
I received this unit at the end of August, from Clearaudio (direct). It was a replacement for my 'back-up' cartridge, which had mysteriously failed to work when I installed it (after sending my other 'primary' one in for a replacement - after it's stylus had worn out, following 2 years plus usage). Having paid-for and received my 'primary' replacement, I got an email from them saying they would replace the 'second' one 'FOC', as it was faulty. That they did.
So, I now had a 9xxx series ser no. (installed) and here - this new one, ser. no.10787, dated 20/08/2016. Having thought seriously for a couple of weeks about the sense in keeping 2 of these cartridges, I decided to sell the newest one.
Eh voila!
If you want to verify this, why not try emailing Mr Stefan Kmuch (head of Customer Services) at Clearaudio? (via their website). Or even telephoning him? I can give you his direct number.
He will tell you - as it is CLEARLY(!) stated in my listing - that this cartridge is BRAND NEW.
In addition, I will tell you that it has never been installed, never even opened. It is still sealed. The buyer must only open it, fill in the registration card (inside the wooden case) and mail it off to Clearaudio, and the 2 year Warranty then starts (during which period the unit qualifies for full replacement FOC, for WHATEVER reason).

So, you seem to be 'interested'. Although I would not classify you as 'serious', yet. But then, I am giving you a little 'inside information' - and just that(!).
You will be outbid.
I got fed up with all the crap I have had to put with on Audiogon and the other 'audiomarts', and - on Robert Suchy's advice - I have advertised this cartridge on a another, well-known audiophile products website. It has already attracted 9 bidders and has gone way over what it's offered for on Audiogon.
C'est la vie!
