Clearaudio Stradivari v2 EXCELLENT

This is one of the very best cartridges ever made. After researching for a couple years, I landed on this cartridge. It's a great value, and an excellent performer. As with everything in hifi, it's no 'all-in-one' package. It requires strong equipment to go with it. The sensitivity of this cart is exquisite, hence the lack of serious depreciation on these since their release.

As anybody who knows analog systems knows, you've got to have patience and discipline when dealing with this type of equipment. The danger of carelessness with cartridges can potentially cost thousands of dollars in repairs, so please take the time to use all the tools at your disposal. There are numerous print-out alignment tools you can use. One note about turntable speeds that can effect the potential performance of your cartridge - try using a power conditioner. Even such a simple addition of any competent conditioner can completely eliminate speed latency and fluctuation.

I'm proud to say that I've taken very good care of this cartridge while in my possession. I've learned from previous bad experiences, and I took my time with setting this one up, never getting impatient or trying to manhandle it. I used it with my VPI Scout and kept it away from areas where it might get bumped into. There were many times when I would take the cartridge or the tonearm off altogether and place them carefully in a safe place when company was over.

This cart will be shipped in a Benz Micro case (lost the original) with several little cleaning and alignment tools for your convenience.
