EMT Ortofon Neumann mega rare MC cartridge high output
I have very unusual cartridge for sale. This is early
collaboration between EMT and Ortofon / Neumann The cartridge has solid metal
EMT like foundation, EMT cantilever (solid aluminum rod). It's all in Neumann
body jacket. The clear coat logo Neumann is on the front of the cartridge.
The cartridge was
born to play jazz and it's does it best. Sax passages are deeper and brighter.
The base is darker as usual. The speed and dynamics are right on.
I had this in my
collection for a while. Purchased it with 300 hours. Put another 70 on it.
The one thing amazed me is the tracking ability at 0.9-1.4g.
None of EMTs or Ortofons I've had were able to play sane at that level. The
output is 1-1.2 mV- quite high( I never measured it, just judging by gain
level)
Sell it just to get quick funds for
collection I purchased this week. Otherwise keep it forever.
