LYRA CLAVIS DA'CAPO VERY SPECIAL TOP PERFORMER ! ! !

I really like Lyra cartridges. My first one was the Evolve and after that: Helikon, Parnassus, Titan and Kleos. All gone but this Clavis DaCapo .

My sample comes with a new Boron cantilever ( instead the original Ceralloy composite one. ) and the great SHIBATA stylus ( today top cartridge manufacturers adopt again Shibata stylus, between thoase manufacturers is Ortofon. ) that puts this fine Lyra design at the Etna quality performance level. No, I'm not saying is the same but really near it, btw as the Etna today top Lyra cartridges use boron build material in the cantilever. What I can asure you is that outperforms the Titan and Ti too. Another advantage of this Clavis DaCapo against  other today Lyra models is that has lower output ( 0.250mv. ) that means lower wire at the coils 

The designer tooks in count this critical design characteristic and after the Clavis he designed for the Titan, Helikon and the top Atlas its same models with lower output ( less wire at the coils. ) and in all cases the professional reviews were in favor of the Lyra with lower output models.

Always exist a way significant improvement ( everything the same. ) in quality performance with the LOMC cartridge has lower output level and this DaCapo is no exception.

It has not more than 30 hours on it, even needs another 20-30 hours for the cartridge settle down. So the best is forth coming for the new owner.

Please don't think that a today cartridge in the 3k_5K price range can beats my sample because just can't do it but maybe the other way around ! !

Btw, the white cover dust paper is new and clean even than in the pictures can't see that way. Thing is that below it the inside is a little " dark " but it is almost new with less than 30 hours of use when come back with that new cantilever/stylus.
