We
sell a stereo phono cartridge that uses a revolutionary new design.
The cross ring method reduces the major fault of a normal cartridge
It merges the centre point of the left and right coils by making
the left and right coils cross over each other, thus enhancing the
ability to regenerate truthfully all the musical signals of the LP.
In this way, I was able to cancel most of the causes of distortion
in vinyl reproduction.
There are generally 2 major problems in a
conventional phono cartridge design. The conventional phono cartridge
installs a square iron core attached to a cantilever and winds up
a coil around the iron core. It also installs a wire in the centre
of the iron core, and it is fixed through a rubber damper in the
yoke.
Therefore the movement point is located in the rubber damper
on the outside of the coil.
Those methods of generating electrical
signals are known as the magnetic induction type, in that they use
a core of iron so that movement is separated from the coil. As any
piece of iron that is put in a magnetic field is strongly attracted
to the magnet, it is not ideal for free or correct movement.
In addition,
the movement point is vague because the wire is a bending part. The
vague fulcrum cannot convey the movement of the stylus tip to the
coil precisely.
And so a cross ring method was devised.
The cross
ring method has overcome the biggest flaw of conventional phono cartridge
design. The cross ring method synchronizes the centre point of the
coil for both left and right channels, and enables correct reproduction
by ensuring a clear movement point in the centre. In addition, I
can change an iron core into resin because the movement is in the
coil. It reduces the influence of the magnetic force and thus enables
better freedom of movement.
