Another item from the collection. This is a very seldom seen for sale Fidelity Research FR-1 MK3 moving coil that has low hours and pure silver coils. It is mounted on a very high quality Audio Technica LS-12 headshell with upgraded leads.

This is absolutely superb on a higher mass tonearm as it is a fairly low compliance cartridge and the headshell is also quite heavy. Works exactly as it should and delivers something rather magical when set up right.

I had acquired the FR-1 MK3F (which is also included but has only one channel) in the hopes of having it repaired (someone had previously looked at it but gave up on it). At any rate, due to significant life changes, it along with plenty of other gear is being offered for someone who will enjoy it for what it is. The stylus on both cartridges are in excellent condition and are true, original nude LC type.

At the asking price this is a great deal. USPS shipping (lower 48) included and no PayPal fees.

No returns on this, please be sure you know what this is and you want it.

To summarize, the FR-1 MK3 that is mounted on the Audio Technica LS-12 headshell works perfectly, the second FR-1 MK3"F" model has one channel out and someone has partially opened it by popping off part of the rear plastic cover. I think it would be worth spending up to $200 to have it fixed, and I had planned on that but that is not going to happen now.

Check my feedback and buy with confidence. Also, take a look at my other ads for more great stuff and keep watching because I have a ton of gear I will be posting this month.

Thanks for looking.
