For some reason Audiogon named the cartridge IO4. The model is Benz L 0.4 This cartridge has been re-tipped/rebuilt by Sound smith. It has 45 hrs. after that. It sounds perfectly and it is as new. I paid close to $500 for the Sound Smith service. It comes with original box ad mounting screws. It is practically a new cartridge after the service. It is a low output cartridge 0.4mV. | Do you know how old this cartridge is and do you have any links to a product page for this cart? I've done some searching but have struck out on finding anything. I love Benz Micro gear and may be interested in adding this to my setup, but I'm not exactly sure about the age, original price, specs, etc. Hello,
For some reason Audiogon named the cartridge IO.4. It is L 0.4.
The cartridge is about 7-8 yrs old. It was performing perfectly all the time until I broke the needle and than sent it to Soundsmith for re-tipping.
