What Hi Fi
The Silver is better than ever, but a hefty price rise takes the edge off an otherwise excellent cartridge. For the best part of two decades, this moving-magnet design has remained a great-sounding cartridge. The Silver digs up a terrific amount of detail, & has a fuller tonal balance without losing any of the precision or tautness of the original. It is also also less fussy about partnering arms & so will work better than the Black in most arms & is a doddle to fit.

Canadian Hi-Fi
The performance of the Corus Silver is fast, exciting and highly detailed. Bass is tight and responsive and there is plenty of overall attack and drive. For those looking for an affordable yet musically rewarding and involving sound the Corus Silver is the obvious choice.

AudioLab Stereo & Home Theatre
The Black was good but Silver's upgraded stylus assembly ensures significant clarity, detail, and speed, plus an agile yet deep bass response. Overall the Corus Silver is a superb value for the money and offers a high quality vinyl experience for relatively little outlay. For those wanting the best musical reproduction from a moving magnet, look no further.
