  • Product: This is the Shelter 501 mkII, NOT the mkIII.  Output is 0.1 millivolt less than than the mk III - which is the only difference.

  • Serial: 6523

  • Rating: Rated a 9 - as it is in excellent condition, in a non-smoking environment, and only used as a backup cart between upgrading from a Dynavector Karat 17d3 to a Dynavector XX-2 mk II.

  • Ownership: Original owner. Comes with special mounting screws and nuts needed for mounting, original box, and paperwork.

  • History: No service history. Tracks and performs absolutely flawlessly for a .3 x .7 nude elliptical. Cart was mounted on a VPI Scout 1.1 with VTF @ 1.8mN.

  • Other: I was very tempted to contact Soundsmith to upgrade the cantilever to boron and get a microline line stylus, but decided I'd rather go balls deep at get the Dynavector XX-2 mk II instead.
