This offer is for a genuine Shure V15 Type V-MR phono
cartridge. Original factory packaging. All mounting & set-up accessories
included.
I purchased this cartridge in 1991 from the Shure employee
store. It has been in my inventory, unused, since then.
I struggled with the decision to let this piece go. It is my
last "new & unused" V15-V. I eventually decided to not be a
hoarder and give someone the opportunity to enjoy this iconic phono cartridge.
Neither the cartridge or stylus have ever been used. Both
remain attached to the original packaging platform (see photo). Unused. Zero
hours of service.
This V-15 is the "real McCoy". Beryllium
micro-wall stylus shank (0.0005-inch tube wall). Dynamic stabilizer. MASR-polished
micro-ridge stylus tip. It may be cliché but the truth is; "they don't
make them like this anymore."

Cartridge weight: 6.6 grams
Output voltage: 3.2 mV @ 1 kHz at 5 cm/sec peak velocity
Recommended load: 47K ohms
Tracking force: 1.5 - 1.75 grams with dynamic stabilizer.
1.0 - 1.25 grams without.

Personally, I find this cartridge to be very "musical".
It is very easy to listen to over extended periods of time, day after day. It
performs well with any genre of music.
The cartridge is offered "as-is". No warranty, no
returns.
Shipping will be via UPS or FedEx and at actual cost.
I will consider shipping outside the US. Any additional
documentation costs will be the obligation of the buyer.
The cartridge will ship in a packing box. Not a padded
envelope.
Dimensions provided are for the outer shipping box. Weight
includes the shipping box and padding.
NOTE: a "buy it now" price is posted because the Audiogon form would not let me create the offer without it. There was not a option to decline.
