I am the original owner of this fantastic sounding Soundsmith SMMC-2 cartridge, bought directly from Mapleshade about 5 years ago. This is the high capacitance version for greater clarity and less smear (400-600 pF). Mounted with four Mapleshade points to decouple the cartridge body from the headshell. Headshell in pictures is NOT included. Cart has very low hours (between 150 and 200 hrs). High compliance ruby cantilever is true - only requires 1g of tracking force. Diamond is in original shape. This is a moving iron cartridge, so no step-up required - can plug directly into a MM input. Buyer to pay shipping and fees. Cheers and thanks for looking.
