Soundsmith Zephyr MIMC Dealer demo with under 15 hours logged.

Here is a superb condition Soundsmith Zephyr MIMC.  Please see the photos for the excellent cosmetic condition.  This is a dealer demo cartridge that was installed on a VPI JMW 10 Signature arm and has 38 album sides of play.  Serial number is M1000754-LN-LC-S-100.

This is the original Zephry MIMC and it is a killer cart. on a uni-pivot or gimbaled arm as it was designed in conjunction with Harry Weisfeld of VPI to take advantage of the strenghts of those style arms.

The “Zephyr
MIMC” cartridge is designed and manufactured in the USA to extremely
exacting standards. The unique design results in a "no-compromise"
moving iron cartridge design providing the listener with unparalleled
performance through employing a tiny, ultra-low mass high-purity moving
iron element. The “Zephyr MIMC” cartridge differs primarily from other
cartridges in that the total moving mass has been reduced to an
astonishingly small level. A key optimizing element in The “Zephyr MIMC”
cartridge is the use of a single-piece, ultra low-mass moving iron,
stylus and cantilever assembly. If required, it can always be rebuilt to
new condition by The Soundsmith. Its design insures optimal performance
for many years to come. 
 
 The “Zephyr MIMC” cartridge is a
low output “moving iron” design, and is compatible only with standard
“moving COIL” phono inputs. The minimum load must be 470 Ohms, or
greater for proper high frequency performance. 
 
 The “Zephyr MIMC” cartridge employs a unique energy dissipation design used in our top of the line SUSSURRO cartridge.
