Surplus ZYX-R1000 Airy 3G - SB, Pure Gold Coil Wires & Silver Base (SB) for sale. This is new, unused cartridge with original box, pouch, manual and warranty intact. The $200 SB option adds weight, strength and stability to the ZYX plastic body.
Some background on this unit. I ordered an Airy 3G with the silver base option from the local distributor but was sent a non-SB version. The cart was sent back to ZYX Japan for the SB to be installed but took several months.
While waiting for the ZYX, the local distributor offered a Miyajima Kansui at a very good price, hence the sale.
As the SB was installed after sale, the ZYX outer box remains as non-SB and the seals for the wooden box had to be broken. I opened it to confirm to SB installation and took photos. Let me know if you need a picture of the installed SB.
Priced to sell. Get a brand new ZYX Airy 3G/SB for the price of a used one! The new Ultimate and Premium models are way more expensive!
