AL-III Components. OEM Planar units, Woofers & X-overs. All have been tech-tested & confirmed in excellent working condition. I purchased these speakers from another site – the seller was less than aware of proper shipping & UPS only added insult to injury – they arrived with the cabinetry destroyed. I carefully dismantled with thoughts of rebuilding in a Carver Amazing and/or Gilmore panel configuration. However my schedule simply does not allow time to take on such a project. The X-over units have been upgraded & modified with higher grade/gauge wiring, Solen caps, L-Pads, etc. by Hi-Tech Audio (total $385). The Carver OEM Planars are in excellent condition (Bohlender-Graebener RD-48 direct replacements from Parts-Express run $650 ea). And the Carver (Eminence) OEM 10” Woofer units are also in perfect working condition – I can find no like-kind replacements for these on market as these were especially designed and spec’d to Eminence by Carver with low profile / low mass magnet assemblies. If you are into DIY’ng speakers – these components could comprise some great sounding speakers.
