Carver Amazing III natural oak finish, perfect working condition

This is a pair of Carver Amazing III speakers, AL-III dipolar speaker system, with natural oak finish, in perfect working condition.

They sound "amazing". If you are looking at this then you probably know about these speakers. The four foot ribbon produces a seamless sound of the highs and midrange. A down-firing 10" woofer provides the low end. They are a 4 ohm speaker. Recommended power: up to 575 watts per channel; 65 watts minimum, 8 ohm rated. I purchased these used and have owned them for about 3 years.

I recently removed the bottoms and checked the woofers and surround - everything intact and looks great - no problems with the surround.

The original foam covers for the ribbons are beginning to deteriorate and will need to be replaced fairly soon. You can find these on eBay and online for $32 per set of two. The original foam covers that are included have been cut down to expose the ribbons per the detailed photos.

The top black wooden piece on one of the speakers is a bit loose and can be lifted off and returned to it's position. It is fastened with a couple of metal wood staples that fit loosely into the holes. This is a purely cosmetic issue that isn't noticed unless you move the speakers and are carrying them. It does not affect the sound in any way.

One speaker has a small spilt in the wood face on the top left side near the edge where it appears to have been slightly crushed. This in no way affects the sound and is purely a cosmetic issue. See close up photos for details.

Once speaker has a patch of discoloration on the base and is also a purely cosmetic issue.
