Cary Audio Design SLI 80 Tube Integrated Amplifier

I purchased this amp as my first entry into tubes, and I am the original owner. It is approximately 6-7 years old, and hasn't been used much (I estimate less than 100 hours). After playing with it for a while, I decided that the flexibility that tubes allow is too much for my obsessive personality. I started purchasing new (old stock) tubes, and I can see that this will be another never ending pursuit (like rotating cables). As a result of this, I am selling the amp, with the upgraded tubes and most of the originals (see pictures). The upgraded tubes are RCA 5U4GB and AMPER 6DJ8 (2 of each). The rest are the stock tubes, plus a few extra.

I have used this amp with a Creek CD50 mk II, and either EPOS M12.2 and Dynaudio Contour s3.4 speakers. I preferred the sound of the EPOS when paired with this amp, and I was surprised with the low end bass, as I had always been told that tubes didn't perform well on the low end. I also tested it with Harmonic Technology, Tara Labs and Audioquest cables. I preferred the sound with Harmonic Technology Magic series speaker cables and interconnects; very warm and open.
