Cary Audio Xciter Cardas upgrades

Unit is black, but also includes Silver faceplate and silver knobs as well. Unit was modified with Cardas Teflon caps, and Audio Note Foil in Oil (I think) snubber caps. This is an added $750.00 upgrade. All work done through Cary Audio. Unit is over 1 1/2 years old so I am not so sure it is still under warrenty.

In short the amplifier is really designed as a headphone amplifier, but can be used for a small desktop system or running a very efficient pair of speakers 93dB+. All tube design with point to point wiring through-out. Self biasing, accepts 6L6, KT-88, 6550, EL-34 type tubes. My personal favorite Tube Amp Doctor 6L6 tubes from Cryoset (tubes are cyro' treated). These will be included in the sale. Also included are a pair of Gold Pinned 12AX7 tubes from JJ Electric. This is a very special one of a kind tube amplifier.
