Arcam FMJ CD23 Excellent condition, true giant killer!

For sale is one of the greatest "value" CD players of all time, the Arcam FMJ CD-23.  Arcam incorporated the dCS-designed Ring DAC in this model, making it a true giant killer at its original price of $1,999.  I've now been spinning CDs with this unit for over 15 years without any issues.  I've opened the case maybe 2-3 times just to clean the laser, that's it!

The bottom of the original remote (CR 214) was damaged during our last move in 2004, but is still fully functional.  I'm also including a newer version of the remote (CR 224) that I purchased from Arcam that same year.  The entire unit looks great, would rate 8/10 if not due to age and the issue with the original remote noted above.  I have the original double box used for shipping as well as the original paperwork.

No refunds/no returns, but I just tested the Coax and Optical outputs with my DAC, and would be happy to share video proof of the unit working with the prospective buyer before purchase.  I'm a long standing member of the Audiogon community with perfect feedback, so please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions!
