This Audio Research CD3MKII CD player (serial number 82102002) has a black finish.   It is a unit that we took in on trade but came with original remote, cord, instruction book, and all the specifications and check out sheets when it was shipped new from the factory.  Being a top load design the CD3MKII comes with a self-centering magnetic clamp to stabilize the CD.   The clamp and all other accessories will be shipped in the original box and packing.  I added more bubble wrap to box.  As you can see from the pictures this unit was cared for and not mistreated.

According to Audio Research 45 parts were changed or added to the CD3 resulting in the CD3MKII having higher resolution with reduced distortion,  lower noise floor and increased micro and macrodynamics.   Instruments are better focused in a more spacious soundstage.

The Blue Book on a used D3MKII is $2,276.  I unpacked this unit, plugged it in, put batteries in the remote, inserted a CD with the clamp on top, closed the sliding door and hit play.   It started reading the CD immediately.  I did not listen to this CD player but have no doubts that it will sound great.  ( I just remembered I left the batteries on the table when I repacked everything.  Sorry, but you will need two AAA batteries.)

Questions for the seller
Hi, Does the track number and time both display at the same time. Your picture displays time only. I know the unit should display both. Please explain. Thank You, Kevin
I am not a very good photographer and I tried positioning the CD3MKII every way but upside down to get both in the picture. I guarantee it displayed both the track number and the time. I have pictures of the track number if you would like to see it but on those the time doesn't show. Thanks for examining the pictures closely. Betty
